5.0 out of 5 stars I really enjoyed reading this book

I really enjoyed reading this book. The older I get the greater thirst I have for answers. Although though I consider myself a Christian, I've often doubted my faith and where I stand with God. In considering my own views as a parent this book opened my eyes and heart more as to how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ feels about us. It always saddened me why someone so unselfish and giving was allowed to die yet others are allowed to go on in selfishness, evil and contempt. Until I got older and began watching my own children grow into adulthood have I realized how God must have felt. I think Mr. Conrad does a good job of pointing out (the War) that must be going on in Heaven and what God has to deal with especially given how humanity betrays God's trust in the Garden of Eden and often thereafter. When I look at how I feel about my own children, what I've wanted and expected of them as a parent, his points puts its into greater perspective. From my view point this book helped me see how loving and trusting God really instead of fearing his plan for us. In my own life in youth I often feared my own father often questioning his beliefs and wondering why he feels the way he does. It wasn't until I walked in his shoes as a parent that I could feel the love and respect that we all see seek. This book helps reinforce this while allowing a different perspective on our relationship with Christ.

Great book! Does a review of the Bible and explains in simple terms why Jesus Christ Our Saviour died to save us from the original sin (concupiscence) and open the kingdom of Heaven to us sinners. It describes the fall of the rebel angels that sided with Lucifer and the two choices we mortals have to make with either siding with God or Satan. A book that made me reflect on the spiritual life to come which is our final destination.

I have never read a better book about why Jesus had to die, and I have never heard it explained that way. Everyone should read this book.

Very well done, its a good illustration of the "war in the Heavenlies" as the apostle Paul spoke of. It speaks of the motivations of the struggle we are all caught up in.

I was surprised at how bold the book started out. The first illustrations foretold the whole story but I didn't get the point until the end. I had no idea that Jesus' death was so important or that it answered so many questions.
